Maternity pants

I broke down the yesterday and bought maternity jeans. My pre-pregnancy jeans were getting a bit uncomfortable and we had to make our trek across the Mid-West. So before hitting the road, I braved the last minute Christmas shoppers and headed out the the mall. Walking into Motherhood was a bit overwhelming, but the sales ladies were very helpful and informative. Trying on some of the pants reminded me of the Friend episode where Joey uses a pair of Rachel's maternity pants because he ate too much at Thanksgiving dinner. Since I am really not that big yet, I feel like I just need bigger pants b/c I ate too much. The store did have a belly pillow that simulates an additional 3 months. I got a kick out of it and had to take a pic of myself. Here is what I will look like by March.

Anyways, I walked out with a couple pairs of jeans and held off on dress pants (since my work clothes still fit). These will come in handy when sitting in the car for 5 or 6 or 9 hours from St. Louis to Dubuque to Detroit and back to St. Louis.
