After a uneventful flight into Detroit, Jacob made his Michigan debut over the July 4th holiday to meet the Munar side of the family. My dad had the whole week off of work so it was really great to have someone's help during the day. During the week, Jacob met my cousin Michelle and Mr & Mrs McKeogh (Meghan's parents). My brother also flew into town to meet his nephew for the first time. It was great timing for Jake to meet everyone because his personality is starting to come out. He is making great eye contact and starting to coo. Below is a video of all the funny faces.
Since my parents are such proud grandparents, they hosted a barbeque on July 4th for all of my extended family to come over and visit. Family friends also came over and we had so much fun during the afternoon. Once the sun went down, the fireworks started. There were so many houses in the area that had the illegal fireworks and we had our very own fireworks display surrounding my parents house. It was awesome!
