Time to Party!!!

We celebrated Jake's 2nd Birthday over the Memorial Day weekend.  Scott's mom, brother, sister-in-law, and kids came in from Iowa on Friday afternoon.  We grilled out and let Jake warm up to them.  It didn't really take very long at all for Jake to start following his cousin Tanner around the house.  It seems that all the little cousins love Tanner!!

The weather on Saturday turned out to be chilly, cloudy, and eventually misty/rainy.  So the afternoon party was set up in our garage.  No worries!  We still enjoyed an awesome dinner and cake with ice cream.  Jake is one lucky kid to have such loving and generous family!

The Next Day

Once we said our good-byes to the Burchette's, Jake wanted to play with all his gifts.  So out came the golf clubs, bubble mower, and kite. He also helped my dad wash the cars, which Jake LOVES to do!!!
