It’s been a couple years since we spent Christmas up in Iowa. I forgot how busy it gets!!! It was great to have Jake spend time with his cousins. He is still at an age where he plays on his own (or that could be the only child syndrome). But there were so many new toys that Jake has never played with at Grandma Carol’s house that he was never bored!
Since we weren’t at home, our routine was way off. I don’t think Jake napped at all and bedtime was hours later than he was used to. All in all, The Snake (our latest nickname for him) did really well!
Hopefully, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandma will come visit St. Louis soon!!! ;)
