Scott and I drove up to Cedar Rapids this weekend to visit our friends, Bird (real name is Brian) and Lisa. They just had a baby girl, Mya, back in January. Right after Mya was born, she was in NICU because she was unable to breathe on her own. But after a few weeks, she started to get stronger. Scott and I didn’t want to get in the way during that stressful time for the Schadler family so we waited to visit. Well, then Scott had to travel to Brazil for the month of March so this was the first time we chance to go and see the little one. She is an absolutely adorable and happy baby. She would go from a fussy whine to a smile in less than 2 seconds… just like any woman!!On Saturday, we drove to see Bird and Lisa’s new house in Center Point. It was really cute from the outside and they are moving in a couple weeks. We’ll be back in Iowa soon to see the new home!
It was a great, relaxing weekend!
