Bye, Bye Baby :(

I knew eventually I would have to spend my first night away from Jacob, but I wasn't counting on the fact that I would have to go all the way across the Atlantic Ocean when I did. I had a business trip in Holland. I knew that Scott would take good care of him, but like every mother, I still had some anxiety. Then the week before I was scheduled to leave, Scott had a last minute business trip to Omaha, NE. Not living near our families, we had to call in reinforcements. Scott's mom was eager to help us out and spend a week with Jake. (Thank heavens!!!)

After a long week of meetings, my collegues and I were able to do dinner and shopping in Amsterdam and I got one picture of a canal. I was ready to get back home to my little man and hubby!!!
