Drew's 1st Birthday

Our friends' son, Drew, had his first birthday on Sunday. Laura had it all set up very festive at Kirkwood park, but in was unseasonable chilly for late August in St. Louis. But the cool weather didn’t stop the fun.

Drew is the only kid I ever witnessed not tear into their first birthday cake. He was very timid about digging his hands into it. Then once the frosting touched his lips, he was not a happy camper! It was pretty entertaining!
