Ana's Baby Shower

My friend, Ana, is expecting her second daughter in March. I have worked with Ana for a few years now. She is originally from Brazil and moved to the US about 4 years ago. Scott is also friends with Ana’s husband, Joao. When the four of us get together, it makes for good company. Ana’s first daughter is Maria. She is a very cute little girl that is typically shy when she first sees us, but soon remembers the fun we had during our previous visit.

As a surprise, Tasha, Jessica and I invited her over to Tasha's new house, telling her it was a house-warming party. We started planning this party back in October and got Joao involved so that we can settle on a date. I love party planning so this gave me a good “project” to do before the holidays. It was fun making the invitations and diaper cake along with planning the menu and hanging with my girls. Joao did a great job keeping the secret for almost 3 months!!! Ana arrived and was very stunned when we yelled “surprise.” It was a great time with great friends!
