One visitor gone... another one comes in.
Meghan came into town for the weekend. She hasn't seen Jacob since July 4th, I think, so we had to have her come for a visit.
I took the day off on Friday and sent Jake to daycare so that we could have a girl's day out. We went to have pedicures done, lunch at the Cheesecake factory, and a chic flick. It was a great day!!!
Since Friday was a nice day out, we decided to headout to the Botanitcal gardens on Saturday. It was still bright and sunny out, but the temperature never made it past 45 degrees. So we spent some time in the Climatron House and a short walk through the Japanese gardens. It was still fun, especially for my friend who worked in English Gardens (local nursery in Detroit) through high school.
For Christmas, I bought Scott a Roomba. It is robot vaccuum that learns the pattern of the house. You can schedule it to vaccuum the house at certain times of the day or week. Now that Jacob is crawling, he loves to follow it around. Unfortunately, he hates it when Roomba bounces of a piece of furniture and comes back toward him. Here he is going after Roomba...
