Here's the problem with not posting Jacob's monthly update right away: I forget what happened...
I do remember that Jacob suffered from another ear infection after being cleared by the doc. I think it was a full week that he was infection free when the next one came along.
Jacob has started showing signs of wanting to crawl. We are trying to encourage him by placing his favorite toy a short distance away from him. What's his favorite toy you may ask?? Our remote control... when he plays with it, he will turn the volume way up, change the channel, or record some random show on DVR. To try to solve this, we took an old remote that looks exactly like the active one. However, Jake is smarter than we assume. He knows which one is "ours" and which one is "his." I don't know how he knows, but we can't fool him!!
Jacob had his first Christmas and first New Year's this month. He is working through his fruits and vegetables. We haven't come across anything that he doesn't like. I hope that this continues as he grows up. I don't know what I will do with a picky eater!
He has been such a joy and entertainment!
