My parents hosted a baby shower for us in Detroit. It was our intention to have the ladies in the house for the baby shower and the guys out in the backyard, doing what guys do best. Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold out and poured all day. It was very reminiscent of our Engagement Party a couple years ago. My cousins from Toronto came in early morning to help cook all the food. (Thanks for all their help!) Many family and friends came for the party and it was great to see them all. Some of whom I haven’t seen in years! After lunch, Scott came in to help open all the gifts. People were so generous and Scott and I are so grateful for everything!
